Senior Pastor | Full-Time | Clinton, Missouri
Approximately 500 members | 250 average weekly attendance | $120,000–$140,000+ total compensation
Our Church
Clinton Methodist Church is a thriving, independent Methodist congregation committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ through biblical teaching, authentic worship, meaningful relationships, and compassionate service.
With approximately 500 members and an average weekly worship attendance of 250, our church is blessed with a committed congregation, dedicated staff and lay leadership, and a strong foundation for future ministry.
Our church has recently invested approximately $2 million in the renovation of our facilities and remains debt-free. This investment reflects both the strength of our congregation and our commitment to providing a welcoming, vibrant place for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry for generations to come.
Located in Clinton, Missouri, approximately halfway between Kansas City and Springfield.
We offer both traditional and contemporary worship, honoring our Methodist heritage while remaining focused on reaching today's families and the generations that will follow. We value the important role music plays in worship, embracing both the tradition of hymns and contemporary Christian music.
The Opportunity
We are seeking more than someone to fill a pastoral position. We are seeking a spiritual leader who feels called to make Clinton Methodist Church and our community home for the long term.
Our next pastor should be a person of integrity and strong character, with a genuine love for Jesus Christ and for people. We are looking for an experienced leader with strong communication skills to inspire a congregation and the vision to lead our church confidently into its next season of ministry.
This should be viewed as a long-term ministry opportunity, not a steppingstone to another position. We desire a pastor who will invest personally in our congregation and community, develop relationships that deepen over time, and help build a church that remains strong for the next generation.
